“Even to an Experiment Upon My Words”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Alma now invited his listeners, one and all, to heed his words. (Invite means to ask courteously, or to request and urge politely that certain objectives be attempted.) He counseled them to give all due attention to what he said to them; if only as an experiment put a measure of trust in his words, that they being good, a desire would grow and grow within them, until, little by little, they could and would believe them all.
