What Does It Mean to Be Compelled to Be Humble

Daniel H. Ludlow

Whenever people do not humble themselves before God or even think of God except in times of dire need or danger, they are being “compelled to be humble” through the seriousness of the circumstance. Such people are more blessed than those who never think of God, but how much better it would be for them if they were humble and prayerful before God at all times—in prosperity as well as in poverty, in health as well as sickness.
