“Wilt Thou Comfort My Soul in Christ”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Comfort comes in and through Christ. It comes to us through the mediation of the Comforter, the Holy Ghost. The Spirit heals our souls, provides divine perspective, and points our minds toward those things which matter most. It is the Comforter who teaches us “the peaceable things of the kingdom” (D&C 36:2; D&C 39:5-6), the “peaceable things of immortal glory” (Moses 6:61).
