“All Things Denote There Is a God”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

Alma delineates the different ways in which God has manifest himself to the people of the earth, means whereby Korihor and people like him might come to believe in him. They serve as signs, as evidences that he exists.

They include: (1) the testimony of Alma and his companions; (2) the testimony of the holy prophets; (3) the word of God as found in scripture; and (4) the testimony of the cosmos, the assurance from nature’s design and perfect organization that there is an all-wise and all-powerful creator. See Helaman 8:24; D&C 88:45-47.
