“A Zealous and Beloved People, a Highly Favored People of the Lord”

How do we become a people highly favored of the Lord? The pattern is exemplified by the people of Ammon, who exhibit the following qualities: zeal (i.e., charitable fervor) toward God and others, honesty, faith in Christ, a peaceable disposition, a certainty of hope in the victory over death through Christ, and being beloved of all. Do we have these qualities in our own character?
