The sons of Mosiah witness a miraculous change in their Lamanite associates. Where there has been bloodthirsty malice, there is now peaceful charity; where there has been the darkness of sin and evil, there is now the light of the Lord. The results of true conversion are love and light—without measure. When we are truly converted as disciples of Christ (see John 13:34–35), we will love our fellowmen and have the desire to bring them under the illuminating influence of the Savior.
