“That Everlasting Gulf of Death and Misery”
Only the mercy of a God could conquer the effects of death and the misery of sin. Such is the effect of the atoning sacrifice of Christ. It extends to everyone the blessing of resurrection, the endless union of body and spirit; and to the faithful it grants the promise of exaltation.
