This chapter is a continuation of chapter 25. The first nine verses are a direct quotation from the exultation which Ammon felt as he contemplated the blessings they had received since they had come among the Lamanites as missionaries.

Now, before Ammon could continue his outpouring of happy exultation over the things which they had been able to accomplish, he was interrupted by his brother, Aaron.
