Once more the record is brief, and again for the same reason as mentioned previously. The record bears a second witness to the words of Alma that the sons of Mosiah had the spirit of revelation and of prophecy and taught with the power of God (v. 6; compare Alma 17:3). As will be more fully commented on later, these Lamanites were truly converted, therefore they never did fall away, nor fight against God anymore (Alma 23:6–7).
