It is interesting that the elderly queen was not like Lamoni's wife. The wife of Lamoni had inquired of the servants and became convinced that Ammon was a prophet, but not so with the elderly queen. Filled with wrath, she just simply told her servants to slay Aaron and the other missionaries.
