Aaron tells the king that his hope lies in pleading directly with Yahweh in repentance. Aaron does not sell it to him. Aaron does not indicate that he (Aaron) is the key-holder, or that Alma or Ammon is. Rather, Aaron tells the king to simply approach Yahweh directly in humble prayer.
