Aaron begins with Adam because he must discuss the fall as a foundation for the Atoning Messiah’s mission, the great message of the Nephite gospel. It is his faith in the Atoning Messiah that compelled him and his brethren to undertake this journey. This is the heart of the message that he wants to deliver to the king.
