“All Things… Pertaining to Righteousness”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The whole system of salvation is one in which we advance from grace to grace until we receive a fulness of understanding and a fulness of the blessings of heaven (see D&C 93:13-20).

“All Shall Rise from the Dead”

We are unable to know from the text how much Alma understood regarding the doctrine of resurrection. He spends most of his time with Corianton discussing the spirit world-the state of the soul between death and resurrection.

He does not speak in detail of the different resurrections, not even as much as Abinadi had done in his discourse to Alma’s father and the other priests of Noah (see Mosiah 15-16). One thing he is certain of: all who have received physical bodies shall rise from the dead.
