“Lamoni Would Not Suffer That Ammon Should Be His Servant”

Brant Gardner

Ammon’s story began with Lamoni’s offer to make him a son-in-law, which Ammon rejected for the status of servant. Now, Lamoni refuses to allow Ammon to retain the status of a servant. Although no details of his new status are recorded, certainly it was to some level appropriate for Lamoni’s close associate and friend.
