Such was the doctrine espoused by Lucifer in the Grand Council of heaven and popularized by Nehor among the descendants of Lehi.
We are left to wonder why the Amalekites and the Amulonites thought it necessary to build synagogues and sanctuaries and assemble to worship in them when salvation, according to their theology, was as easily obtained without their doing so.
We note with interest that false religious ideologies that hold that ritual and form are unnecessary and are as a general rule meticulous about the “form of godliness.”
It is also our experience that those ideologies that pride themselves in their ecumenical attitudes and open-mindedness are the first to close ranks in angry wrath against the true servants of the Lord and the message of salvation.
