“Why Do Not Angels Appear Unto Us?”
In harmony with the order of heaven, angels appear unto “just and holy men” (see Alma 13:26; D&C 67:10-13). The Savior’s teaching as recorded in Luke 16:29-31 is relevant here. Clearly, those who will not hear the word of God as preached by one such as Aaron will not hear it if preached by one who has come back from the dead. The issue is the message, not the messenger.
