Aaron and his two companions had met the second requirement for being effective missionaries. They were patient in their long-suffering and afflictions (vv. 29–30). They were now better prepared to be instruments in the hands of the Lord in furthering the work among the Lamanites. In the following chapter, we will go back and follow their initial efforts among the Lamanites as well as see what happened to them after they were freed from prison.
