“Queen of the Lamanites: Wife of Lamoni”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

The wife of King Lamoni is one of the most exemplary women depicted in the Book of Mormon. The account of her conversion is brief, and she remains unnamed in the record. However, her superlative faith is extolled by Ammon, and her example of coming unto Christ and following in the footsteps of her husband is instrumental in bringing many of the Lamanite people into the fold.
