It is interesting that Alma kept Amulek beside him as he labored diligently to keep the Nephite churches in order and motivate the people to live in righteousness during this period of peace. It is obvious that Alma and Amulek raised up a host of faithful leaders to strengthen the body of the Church everywhere.
