“Alma and Amulek Return to Zarahemla”

Monte S. Nyman

Alma ended the second year of his reformation mission with a successful labor among the people in the land of Sidom. The ninth year of the reign of the judges had been spent on the east side of the river Sidon in the land of Zarahemla and Gideon. The tenth year was spent on the west side of the river Sidon among the people of Melek, Ammonihah, and Sidom. Much success was enjoyed in Melek and Sidom, but most people in the land of Ammonihah rejected the message of Alma and Amulek (vv. 15–16). The above verses basically summarize the time spent in the land of Ammonihah in the tenth year.
