Many people believed the teachings of Alma and Amulek and began to change their lives, although most were angry with the prophets because of the plainness of their words or their frankness and bluntness in exposing the sins of the people. Those who willfully live in sin do not like to have their sins exposed. This people wanted to kill the prophets.
