“For They Were Angry with Alma”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

When the servants of falsehood contend with the servants of truth, each side must fight with its own weapons. The servants of light cannot use falsehoods to advance their cause, nor can the servants of the prince of darkness use truth-though they may appear to do so. Truth without light, truth without virtue, truth without goodness, truth without mercy, truth without righteousness, truth without holiness-this is truth without honesty. Like the dusk of day it is harbinger of the darkness to come.
