“The Voice of the Lord, by the Mouth of Angels”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The proclamation of angels is one of the means by which the gospel is preached. Of the Adamic dispensation the scriptures attest: “And thus the Gospel began to be preached, from the beginning, being declared by holy angels sent forth from the presence of God, and by his own voice, and by the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Moses 5:58; compare D&C 20:35). Angels-seen and unseen-witness to the “chosen vessels’ about the divine Sonship of the Lord Jesus, and these in turn bear witness to ”the residue of men“ (Moroni 7:31-32). Indeed,”Whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same“ (D&C 1:38).”
