This is most likely Mormon's interjection. It is not written as though Alma or Amulek had written the statement, and we may suspect that it is another of Mormon's editorial comments. Whether or not it is based upon a statement in the text Mormon was using, or is simply the result of Mormon's effort to move the spiritual story along is information beyond our current grasp.
