“If We Could Command the Rocks and the Mountains to Fall Upon Us”
Like Alma, who desired at the apogee of his agony to become extinct (Alma 36:15), the wicked would rather face anything but their God. (See also Mormon 9:1-5; Hosea 10:8; Luke 23:30.) Such, however, will not be possible.
