“He Hath Exercised His Power in Thee”
Satan need not do all his own dirty work. He moves upon, tempts, inspires, and possesses others to cause them to think and act in ways that seek to halt or hinder the plan of righteousness. However, as Joseph Smith taught, “The devil has no power over us only as we permit him (Teachings, p. 181).”
