Amulek told the story of his conversion. He and his family were blessed because he extended hospitality to a servant of the Lord. This recalls Abraham, who was blessed because of his hospitality (Genesis 18:1–10). Have you ever performed some act of kindness and been blessed for it beyond your thoughts? Brother Skinner recalls a time as a young man when his parents offered such a kindness without thinking anything about it. The kindness was returned years later at a time of family crisis when the reciprocated kindness was magnified a hundredfold. Such is the way the Lord works among his covenant people.
