Notice that when Alma receives the message, he “returned speedily.” Alma not only did not hesitate to follow the command of the Lord, he went speedily to the fulfillment of the directive. When he returned to Ammonihah he entered the city “by another way.” It is not clear whether this indicates a different entrance from the original entry, or a different entry from the point of departure. The south way would be more in line with Melek that the putative position of Aaron, and so it might appear that he entered through the same way he had first entered, but a different way from the way of departure.
