Alma blessed the people, saying, “May the Lord bless you, and keep your garments spotless … in the kingdom of heaven to go no more out.” In other words, he blessed them that they might remain in that state of grace which attends their saved condition. He was saying, in a sense, “Your natures are changed so that your attitude is God’s attitude—may that never change.”
