Our Lord is absolutely dependable and everlastingly constant. His truths are eternal, his ways and doings are forever the same, and his purposes unfailing. Though the principle on which the government of heaven is conducted is revelation suited to the circumstances in which the children of the kingdom are placed (see Teachings, p. 256), God’s ways are never capricious, never variable. On him we may rely with unshaken confidence. See 1 Nephi 10:19; Alma 37:12; D&C 3:2.
