These verses contain basically the same message that Alma gave to the people in Zarahemla (Alma 5:49–52). Alma does not mention the entering into a covenant to keep the commandments with the Lamb of God (Alma 7:15), but the covenant is mentioned or implied many other times throughout the Book of Mormon (see Alma 5:5–8; 18:8–10; see also 2 Nephi 31:9–21; Mosiah 27:24–31; Alma 36:18–26; and 3 Nephi 11:23–39).
