Alma expressed assurance that the Saints in Gideon would continue in well doing, in observing the Lord's commandments; that they would not, as their brethren in Zarahemla had, worship idols, but bow down to and worship the true and living God. He also assured them that the remission of their sins would come to all those who looked forward continually with an eye of faith, having in view those things of which the prophets had long spoken.
