“Gather Themselves Together Oft”
It has ever been the command of the Lord that his people “[meet] together oft both to pray and to hear the word of the Lord’ (4 Nephi 1:12). Moroni wrote: ”And the church did meet together oft, to fast and to pray, and to speak one with another concerning the welfare of their souls“ (Moroni 6:5).”
