According to the economy of heaven, the wicked are not numbered among the fold of Christ. Only the righteous are written in the “book of life” (verse 58) and receive an inheritance at the right hand of the Lord. The attitudes and opinions of men concerning this verity do not matter, for “the word of God must be fulfilled’ (verse 58). Let us remember that we will be judged by one standard alone: the word of God.
