That A. they are spituary dead, inert to righteousness and the ways of the righteous. Good works are essential to salvation. To merely believe in God and Christ makes us no better than the devils; if they did not have a sure knowledge of the Eternal Father and his Only Begotten Son they would have no need to war against them.
