“Whosoever Doeth This Must Receive His Wages of Him”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

"The laborer is worthy of his hire," and in the vineyard of our Lord he will receive a just reward. That reward is Eternal Life in God's Kingdom. However, he that works for the devil must expect and will be paid with that which the devil has to give, namely, death; death to "things pertaining unto righteousness." Death to even a desire to do good, but to do evil continually. We can understand this thoroughly when we remember that "whatsoever is good cometh from God, and whatsoever is evil cometh from the devil." "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
