As discussed under Alma 3:27, the original text permitted only the past tense in the expression “thus ended ”. The original ended will be maintained here in Alma 4:10. In this case, the 1874 RLDS edition replaced ended with endeth; the correct reading was restored in the 1908 RLDS edition.
