The Lord stands ready to reward us according to our faith, works, and the desires of our hearts (see Alma 41:3; compare Mosiah 2:33, 37). The devil, on the other hand, will never support those who follow him but will speedily bring them down to hell (see Alma 30:60). Let us come unto the Lord and “enjoy the words of eternal life in this world, and eternal life in the world to come, even immortal glory” (Moses 6:59).
