Mosiah makes a more elaborate statement about his “bad” example. Noah succeeded in leading an entire people astray. Even though Mosiah 25:1–16 gives only an abbreviated version of it, Mosiah had summoned all the people to an assembly in which Alma1 and Limhi recounted their experiences. They would certainly remember Noah’s sinister role in his people’s enslavement and apostasy.
