“Publishing to All the People the Things Which They Had Heard and Seen”

Brant Gardner

Alma2 and the sons of Mosiah are all converted, although we hear little about the conversion of the sons of Mosiah. Part of their conversion process prompted them to attempt to undo the damage they had done, so they travel through the land “publishing to all the people the things which they had heard and seen.” Certainly believers would have accepted their testimony with open arms, but how would they have been received by former co-believers against whom they were now preaching? It is easy to see that this situation created “much tribulation, being greatly persecuted by those who were unbelievers, being smitten by many of them.”
