“He Also Read the Account of Alma and His Brethren”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Continuing, Mosiah also read how Alma, who now stood among them, led those who had taken the name of God upon them at the Waters of Mormon into the wilderness before an army of King Noah that sought to destroy them.

He read of their afflictions and how, while under the servitude of wicked men, the Lord had eased their tasks, and their burdens became light to bear because of their prayers to Him. Mosiah read to them how, in a miraculous manner, the Lord guided Alma and his brethren to Zarahemla where with the main body of Nephites, they raised their voices in thanksgiving, praising God.
