This particular change is interesting in that we have two important Book of Mormon names that have incorrectly entered our tradition. In this case, we should be speaking of the Mulochites rather than Mulekites. The other instance is the spelling shift from Amlicite to Amalekite. (See commentary accompanying Alma 2:3–4.)
