The Lord warned Alma to hasten out of this country because the Lamanites had wakened from their sleep and were pursuing them. However, the Lord said He would stop their pursuit when they came to the valley where Alma was then encamped. Alma and his company of faithful followers, traveled yet another twelve days, at the end of which time they arrived in Zarahemla where Mosiah reigned over a God-fearing and peaceloving people who greatly rejoiced in Alma's deliverance.
