“And I Will Also Ease the Burdens Which Are Put Upon Your Shoulders”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

The Lord will gather the faithful out of bondage. The Lord answers the prayers of the humble and faithful by granting them strength to meet the challenges of life, courage to face adversity, and resilience to endure the burdens of mortality. The citizens of Helam are placed under grievous burdens by the vengeful Amulon, and it is only through their humble prayers and faithful dependence on the Lord that they are ultimately freed from bondage and find their way to the central locus of Nephite leadership at Zarahemla.
