At last, the Nephites could stand no more. They complained of their hardships to King Limhi. So incessant and bitter became their accusations against the Lamanites, and so unyielding their demands for revenge, that the king consented to their wishes, and permitted them to "do according to their desires" and drive the Lamanites "out of their land."
