“They Found the King of the Lamanites Among the Number of Their Dead”

So hasty was the flight of the Lamanites to escape the fury of the Nephite attack that in their hurry to leave the scene of combat, the Lamanites left their wounded king among the dead, thinking that he, too, had been slain. He was discovered by the victorious Nephites, who took him, bound up his wounds and carried him before King Limhi. They wanted to slay him.
