“They Should Look Forward with One Eye”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
To look forward with one eye is to be single-minded, focused, and riveted on the cause of Christ. It is to be more concerned about building up the kingdom of God and establishing his righteousness in the earth than with personal achievement or self-aggrandizement. It is to have an eye single to the glory of God (see 3 Nephi 13:22; D&C 88:67-68).
