One young priest, Alma, believed Abinadi, pleaded his cause, and was threatened with death and banished. Fortunately for us, Alma went into hiding and wrote everything he remembered that Abinadi taught—another example of the value of record-keeping, writing a personal journal (see “The Importance of Record-Keeping,” accompanying the commentary at Alma 37).
