Again, it is important to understand that this phrase has reference to the judgment of God upon the sons of Perdition. Although resurrected, these are the only ones who are not redeemed by the Lord, therefore the Lord redeemeth them not. The Lord has said, they are the only ones who shall not be redeemed in the due time of the Lord (DC 76:38). Those who are not redeemed suffer the second spiritual death, to be forever banned from dwelling with the Father, Son, or Holy Ghost. They are as though there was no redemption made, being an enemy to God (v. 5).
