Now Abinadi expands the definition of those who publish peace. It is not simply the prophets who declare the coming of the Atoning Messiah but the Messiah himself who is the ultimate publisher of peace. Where the prophets merely speak of coming good news, the Messiah actually provides (publishes) salvation. In his life it is an accomplished action—not a promised action.
